The silicone disk is a great tool for keeping the stems in place so they don’t slide. Of course, you can create wonderful bouquets with a Hanataba without the silicone disk, but it does make things a lot easier.

A silicone disk is always included in the packaging when you purchase a Hanataba, but if you are really diligent in using your Hanataba and spend your free time creating beautiful flower arrangements (which we hope you do), you may need to replace your silicone disk after a while.
Simply remove the old silicone disk and clean the surface where it was attached, using, for example, rubbing alcohol to remove any adhesive residue, and then apply a new one.
