The ring has a 150 mm diameter and a 113 mm inner opening. Therefore, it offers excellent stability, even for larger or heavier arrangements. The acrylic is light, yet strong enough to hold stems securely in place. In addition, the ring fits neatly into shallow ikebana bowls, which makes it suitable for both minimal and lush designs.
This acrylic kenzan ring works well with many flowers. For example: roses, tulips, lilies, carnations, hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus, gerberas and dahlias. However, for thicker woody stems, a heavier brass kenzan is recommended.
Cleaning is easy. Simply rinse the ring and pins with lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid aggressive cleaners, because they may damage the acrylic. For deeper cleaning, use a soft toothbrush or the Hanataba Cleaning Rake. Also, dry the ring carefully with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
